Payment and Insurance

Most insurance companies will offer metabolic/bariatric surgery benefits for their members and will cover a portion or sometimes even the entire surgery. It is important to remember that each plan offers different coverage and you may need to meet certain criteria before you can move forward with the surgery process. The good news is that we will be with you every step of the way.

We work with nearly every insurance company, and stay up-to-date on their current processes to help you get approved for surgery. Please feel free to contact us with questions or call our program coordinator directly at (559) 324-4815 to learn about your specific insurance coverage for bariatric surgery. For those who are uninsured or where bariatric surgery is an exclusion from your plan, we offer competitive self-pay options.

If your medical insurance company will not cover metabolic/bariatric surgery, The Clovis Community Weight-Loss Surgery Center offers patients competitive pricing. Our Weight-Loss Surgery self-pay prices generally include preoperative, intra-operative, and post-operative surgical care, barring any complications requiring additional resources or an extended stay. Once you and your surgeon have decided on the most appropriate procedure, a specialist at Clovis Community Medical Center will help determine the hospital fee. The hospital fee will not include the Surgeon’s fee, the Anesthesiologist fee, or any fees related to additional resources or an extended stay due to any complications.
